Akara Job serves schools, districts, and part-time teachers across Nigeria. Teachers can sign up for free, create a profile with qualifications and subjects, and receive job offers from schools. To work, teachers must complete a KYC verification costing ₦4,500 per year, which can be paid by the teacher or sponsored by a school.

Schools can register a single school starting from ₦5,000 per month, with options for districts and agencies. Schools pay a commission based on payroll processed through the platform—for example, 2.5% on the Growth plan. The platform provides digital clock-in for attendance tracking and payroll processing with automatic calculations and export options.

Teachers can be filtered by subject (e.g., Mathematics, English Language, Physics) and state (e.g., Lagos, FCT, Rivers). The platform lists teachers across 18 subjects and 18 states, allowing schools to find candidates in their area.
