Google accounts and data access

When you sign in with Google, we store your Google account identifier, name, email, profile photo, login dates, profile unlocks and account permissions. We use a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not request access to Gmail or Google Drive, and do not send your email, unlock records or download selections to analytics.

We keep unlock records while your account exists so repeat visits do not consume new slots. Expired sessions are removed during sign-in. Account permission changes are recorded for support and access management. Email support@jobsitedir.com to request account deletion. Contact us about deletion and any remaining data-access records.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us (such as name, email, company, and messages) and basic usage data (such as pages viewed and device/browser information). We also maintain publicly available job board information gathered from public pages and reviewed correction requests.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to operate, maintain, and improve the JobSiteDir directory and comparison tools. This includes:

  • Responding to directory support requests
  • Reviewing corrections, updates, and partnership inquiries
  • Reviewing recorded information and updating profiles
  • Improving user experience through behavioral analysis

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering services, or when required by law to comply with legal processes.

We may also publish aggregate or anonymized insights regarding recruitment trends that do not identify specific individuals or organizations.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand page visits, searches, filters, navigation, chart interactions, and clicks to other websites or email links. Google receives usage and device information and uses analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We do not use this integration for advertising personalization or collect form contents and search terms. We may record short campaign identifiers from tagged links to understand how visitors find us.

Analytics is enabled by default. Choosing “No thanks” turns off analytics cookies and sends Google a denied consent signal. Google tags remain loaded and may send limited, cookieless measurement signals. This choice does not limit the directory. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Your preference is stored in your browser for 180 days. Choosing “No thanks” also clears our Google Analytics cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.

5. Security

We use access controls and other security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, please be aware that no method of online transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable data protection laws, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is explicitly required by law.
