Cape Breton Partnership Job Board

The Cape Breton Job Board is an online platform for employers based on Cape Breton Island to connect with job seekers from Canada and abroad. Job seekers must create a profile, upload documents such as a resume, degree, and language test if needed, then apply directly to opportunities on the board. Employers similarly create a profile, post opportunities, and wait for seekers to apply directly. The Cape Breton Partnership does not facilitate matches between employers and employees; hiring decisions are at the employer's sole discretion.

Employers can access resources including immigration information, wage subsidies, labour market data, recruitment support, and local Cape Breton resources. To view these resources, employers must sign up or log in as an organization. A sample job listing for a Cook shows that applicants may submit a resume and cover letter through the platform's apply function, and only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
