EPC Peterborough

EPC (Employment Planning & Counselling) is an Employment Ontario-funded service provider located at 418 Sheridan Street in downtown Peterborough. It serves both job seekers and employers in Ontario, with a focus on diversity and sustainable employment. Job seekers can access in-person workshops and certifications to add skills to their resumes, as well as science-based career exploration training to help choose a career direction.

For employers licensed to operate in Ontario and providing employment in Ontario, EPC offers a range of free services. These include online job postings with guaranteed visibility, applicant pre-screening, interview assistance (including physical space), and help planning job fairs at its downtown location. Eligible employers may also receive a wage subsidy to offset training costs for new employees, and can access information about the Ontario Job Grant for workforce training funding.

Additional employer services include aptitude and MBTI assessments for recruitment and employee development, and job matching and placement support. The website also provides digital marketing for job postings, which are accessed by hundreds of job seekers every week.
