First Nations Jobs

First Nations Jobs is a job board dedicated to First Nations people in Australia, connecting graduates and jobseekers with employers committed to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural inclusion. It is also open to non-First Nations jobseekers who want to work in a culturally understanding workplace. The platform was founded in February 2024 by Malcolm Timbery-Thornton, a Yuin man from the South Coast of New South Wales with a background in Indigenous advocacy.

Employers must pass a Cultural Compliance Assessment to advertise, ensuring they have inclusive policies and a safe workplace. The platform also offers employer branding services such as microsites and case studies, and provides in-house cultural training for advertisers. Separate login and registration portals are available for employers and jobseekers.
