FNE (Fonds National de l'Emploi) is the national public employment service of Cameroon, created by presidential decree on 27 April 1990. It operates a network of 17 agencies covering all 10 regions, with headquarters in Yaoundé. All services are free for both job seekers and employers.
Job seekers can create a profile, browse job offers, and receive personalized support. The platform currently lists 54 active job offers that can be filtered by keyword, city, occupation, and contract type (including CDI, CDD, internship, apprenticeship, part-time, freelance, and temporary work). A CV database (CVthèque) contains 63,650 anonymized profiles from the 17 agencies, accessible via the NEFISYS system. Employers can publish job offers and consult CVs directly.
The FNE runs multiple employment programs such as PED-CI, USEP, PADER, and MICROPAR, and has a dedicated service for qualified profiles called Bureau Cadres. It also offers a skills assessment center (Centre d'évaluation Bilan de compétences). The office is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00.
