HireGuys

HireGuys connects homeowners, employers, trade workers, and small businesses across Ontario, Canada, for local trade hiring. The platform covers 47+ trade categories, from everyday repairs to specialized skilled work. Employers can post jobs with photos and receive applicant responses, paying only to connect with applicants—no subscription required to get started. Trade workers and small businesses can find local work opportunities on the platform.

Job listings on HireGuys include salary visibility, showing flat rates, hourly rates, or open to quote, along with location, job type (e.g., seasonal, temporary, full-time), and hiring status. The platform features a public jobs listing page where users can view jobs sorted by newest, closest, or highest pay. However, users must sign in to view full job details and apply. Employers can activate HirePass Boost for extra job visibility during a set window, useful for time-sensitive jobs or busy areas. An AI assistant called HireGuys Agent helps create clearer job details from project photos.
