IIP — International Internship Program

IIP is an internship platform operated by EQUAA, an international education accreditation agency founded in 2008. It serves three groups: students (active students eligible for internships with at least 1 month availability), universities (requiring current EQUAA membership or program subscription), and companies (requiring at least 1 annual vacancy of minimum 1 month, a minimum subsistence allowance, and a completion certificate). The platform offers internships in 12+ countries and uses explainable AI to match candidates to vacancies, providing reasons for each match rather than a black-box result.

Students can browse a global map of vacancies filtered by country, modality, match, and salary. They receive real-time application status tracking and feedback at each stage, and upon completion earn a verified certificate shareable on LinkedIn. The platform also includes visa and accommodation support for interns. For universities, a dashboard provides metrics on applications per month, top careers, hiring companies, and destination countries, with executive reports ready for accreditation bodies. Companies get a dashboard where AI analyzes CVs, soft skills tests, and academic history to shortlist 5 candidates per vacancy, saving approximately 6 hours of manual review per vacancy.

A notable program rule: for each partner company a university registers, IIP grants 20 student slots with access to all vacancies in the global network. Companies can access verified students from EQUAA universities across 12+ countries.
