JMA Doctor Bank is a free job matching service for doctors in Japan, operated under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Any licensed doctor—regardless of age, gender, or Japan Medical Association membership—can register. The service collaborates with prefectural medical associations and government-affiliated doctor banks to facilitate nationwide introductions. Registration requires submitting a copy of your medical license or qualification certificate along with a copy of an identification document such as a driver's license or passport.

The service is limited to introductions within Japan. After an interview, if both parties agree, the labor contract is concluded directly between the doctor and the hiring facility. The service does not accompany or sit in on interviews, including online ones. Personal information of job seekers is not disclosed to facilities until an interview is decided, unless the seeker gives consent. Job listings are available nationwide, including positions starting with 1-2 days per week.
