Jobs in Cochrane

JobsInCochrane.com serves job seekers and employers in Northeastern Ontario. Employers can create a free account to post and manage jobs. Job seekers can also create a free account to receive tailored job notifications. The site is funded in part by the Government of Ontario.

A notable feature is the Employee Sharing Tool, which matches employers with similar skill needs for non-full-time employees. This arrangement allows employees to attain full-time or additional hours, helping retain talent in Northern Ontario. Job seekers can filter listings by industry sector (e.g., Mining, Healthcare, Education), employment type (e.g., Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal), region (e.g., Timmins, Cochrane, Kirkland Lake), and salary range (from under $20,000 to $140,000+). They can also mark jobs as applied or save them for later.

The site provides separate login and sign-up options for employers and job seekers. It warns users not to include personal information such as bank account or Social Security numbers in their resumes, advising that legitimate companies will not ask for such details via email.
