The State Employment Service of Ukraine provides free job search and personnel selection services. It also administers unemployment insurance benefits and material support for those who have temporarily lost work. The service maintains a unified operational database of vacancies, job seekers, and training opportunities across the country.

For employers, the service offers candidate selection from the unemployed, mini job fairs, interviews, and professional training for needed workers. Information about a vacant job is posted in the electronic vacancy database, on bulletin boards, and on the web portal of the State Employment Service.

The service provides employment assistance for internally displaced persons, compensation for employing them during martial law, and compensation for setting up workplaces for persons with disabilities. It also offers employment assistance for foreigners and stateless persons in Ukraine.
