Projekt Network

Projekt Network is a free platform for anyone working in or around skilled trades in Ontario, including tradespeople, apprentices, labourers, contractors, construction companies, suppliers, and manufacturers. Tradespeople can create a profile using only their name, trade, city, and photos of completed jobs—no resume or long forms required. They can also add qualifications like Red Seal or WHMIS by snapping a photo of their card, which companies use as search filters.

Job postings include wage, location, and start date, and tradespeople can apply with one tap using their profile. The platform also shows wage ranges from real postings in a user's trade and city, helping them understand expected pay bands. Companies can post jobs for free, search for tradespeople by trade, city, tickets, and years of experience, and message candidates directly without a recruiter intermediary.

Additional features include tagging crew members on projects to give them credit and expand networks, and a public business page for trades businesses that is indexable by Google with LocalBusiness schema and a dofollow backlink. Companies, suppliers, and manufacturers can create free profiles and projects, with optional paid promotional features planned for the future. The network currently has over 1,200 Ontario trades members.
