RoadTrades is a job board built for traveling tradespeople and the recruiters who hire them. It covers 28 traveling trades across the construction industry, with jobs that include per diem. Tradespeople can create a free profile, build a resume, browse jobs, and apply nationwide at no cost. Jobs are posted directly by employers and recruiters, not scraped from other sites.

The platform includes tools to manage a working life on the road. A credential wallet stores certifications like TWIC, OSHA, and NCCER, with expiry alerts. An expense tracker with receipt scanning is available, with 10 scans per month on the free plan. The paid profile adds automatic GPS mileage tracking via the app. A blended-rate calculator helps compare hourly pay plus per diem, and no account is needed to use it.

Recruiters can search a database of verified travelers called the Black Book. Worker contact details are not shared with recruiters until the worker chooses to send them, giving tradespeople control over connections.
