SemayJobs

Semay Jobs lists professional vacancies across Ethiopia, covering Addis Ababa and regions such as Hawassa, Bahir Dar, Dire Dawa, Mekelle, Adama, Jimma, Gondar, Jijiga, Gambella, and Semera, including field postings with humanitarian operations. Job seekers pay nothing at any point, and the site does not collect CVs, require registration, or sell job seeker data. Every listing links directly to the employer's own application route, so the site acts as a directory rather than a recruitment agency.

The site offers filters by category, employment type, and work arrangement to narrow down listings. Expired listings are removed once the deadline passes or the employer confirms the role is filled. A Telegram channel posts each new listing immediately upon publication, helping job seekers apply while positions are still open. The site also provides 12 career guides written for the Ethiopian market, covering topics relevant to local job seekers.

Employers pay to post listings, and the site carries third-party advertising. Employers can create a profile that collects all their open roles in one place, and featured placement is available for roles with short deadlines. The site includes a contact mechanism for reporting broken links, suspected fraud, or corrections to guides, and all submissions are read.
