Sportbalie is a central job board for the sports sector in the Netherlands, connecting sports professionals—such as neighborhood sports coaches, personal trainers, and sports teachers—with employers including municipalities, sports organizations, and clubs. The platform lists permanent jobs, internships, and freelance assignments, covering specialties like sports stimulation, events, and education.

Job seekers can filter listings by employment type (fulltime, parttime, internship, volunteer, freelance/ZZP, or 'in overleg') and by specialty (e.g., e-Sports, Events, Charity, Hospitality, Childcare, Media/ICT, Education). Listings can be sorted by date posted, featured, or alphabetical order, and users can set the number of results per page from 10 to 200. A job alert feature sends email notifications based on selected filters. Applicants apply directly to the employer, not through the platform.

Employers can create a free company page, and freelancers or independent professionals can create a personal promotion page. The platform is designed for job advertising and discovery only; it does not handle candidate selection.
