Waddenvacatures serves job seekers and employers on the five Dutch Wadden Islands: Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland, and Schiermonnikoog. The platform is run by a recruitment marketing bureau based on Ameland that understands the local labor market. It helps candidates with practical island-specific matters such as housing, travel time, and expectations before they apply.

For employers, the site offers subscription plans starting at €361 per month, which include multiposting across a job board network and Google for Jobs. Subscribers can add a one-time 'Vacature Boost' for €600 to run a targeted Facebook and Instagram campaign with management and response qualification. A custom campaign service is also available with one-time setup costs of €450, weekly management and screening at €150, and a weekly ad budget of €150. Additionally, the site provides a recruitment and selection service: 10% of gross annual salary for seasonal and permanent staff, or €500 per placed candidate for weekend and holiday workers.

The bureau builds recruitment campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, filters responses, and calls candidates to ensure they match the vacancy before the employer gets involved. Employer branding pages called 'Werken bij' are available for subscribing employers.
