Remote-China.com collects remote job opportunities from Chinese domestic recruitment platforms such as Zhilian Zhaopin and BOSS Zhipin, as well as from communities like Deyan Community and V2EX. The site is operated by an individual named greatghoul, a remote-working programmer based in Xi'an.

To access job links and other features, you use a points system. Viewing a job link costs 1 point per use. Job email push notifications also cost 1 point per email and require a balance of at least 6 points to enable. You can earn points by daily check-ins, with an extra 3-point bonus for 7 consecutive check-ins. Recharged points are valid indefinitely and do not expire.

If you want to post a job, submitting a listing consumes 1 point, and 3 points are refunded if the submission is accepted. There is also an independent developer support ad placement that costs 3 points per submission, non-refundable regardless of approval. The site allows filtering jobs by industry, occupation, development field, and language.
