Velnox

Velnox is a freelancing platform currently operating in Sri Lanka, the United States, and Australia, with several other countries listed as coming soon. Freelancers pay an annual system fee and keep all their earnings, as the platform takes no commission. Registration requires a government-issued ID and professional details, and submissions are manually reviewed within two business days. Each department is capped at 100 verified freelancers to maintain quality.

For clients, posting a job is free. Every job posting is reviewed before it reaches freelancers, and payments are handled through escrow-protected milestones. Clients fund escrow before work begins and release funds only when satisfied. The platform also offers AI-powered job matching to rank suitable freelancers. Dispute resolution is available 24/7 with human review and a binding decision within 2–7 days.

Freelancers can register as individuals, teams (up to 10 members), or companies (up to 50 members), with different limits on active jobs. After verification, the annual system fee must be paid within two days, or the account is permanently restricted. Velnox plans to open international markets after 500 successful Sri Lankan jobs are completed.
